Just this morning, I sat on the balcony and read a book on Kindle. It was sunny, warm, and Nefnef saw a cat (and told it a lot of stuff I didn’t get).

Wonderful.

Have you ever just felt grateful like that over the small things in life?

Besides reading, I also get to write a lot. Fiction, nonfiction, emails… It’s awesome.

It makes me sad to realize how many people can’t do that, even though they want to.

It’s the complaint I hear most often from other writers. They want to write more… but just don’t seem to be able to make it happen.

By the way… That "how YOU doin" is absolutely the words we remember Joey for. But he didn’t even use them until halfway through season 4. And after that… he didn’t say them that often.

We still think it’s his signature phrase, right?
